Got your morning ☕️ready? We're going to play Where's the coffee ♥ Vancouver.
For this week's edition, we are featuring 7 amazing coffee roasters from Vancouver, the home of notorious coffee brands like 49th Parallel.
If you're new to this game, each roaster will be gifting a coffee bag. That's right, FREE COFFEE for 7 lucky participants! All the details on how-to-play are down below.
Why are we doing this?
First, we're all pretty bored from physical isolation. Second, it's always fun to win something. Lastly, and most importantly, we are making coffee communities come together to raise awareness on the impact of drinking local.
The supply chain of specialty coffee is composed by thousands of humans. In our reality, we are talking small-business owners and professionals taking a leap of faith on specialty coffee and going the extra mile in an attempt to do fair trade with farmers and producers.
All this to say that coffee is not a local good, it's a foreign commodity, but coffee is roasted, extracted, and served by local artisans. And we as coffee drinkers have the ability to support this economy during these hard times by continuing to drink local at home, #th3rdwave.
Brew at home, save lives.
